Race Details



This years race will take place on Sunday, October 23, 2011 in Alpharetta, Georgia and will feature 10k and 5k race options as well as a half mile kids fun run!


Course Information

North Point Village Shopping Center
7300 Northpoint Parkway, Alpharetta GA 30022

Both the 5K and 10K courses start from the North Point Village Shopping Center (New Balance parking lot) off North Point Parkway in Alpharetta, GA. For those competing in the 10K, the course will be run twice and officials will direct the 5K/10K spilt. The Fun Run will also take place along North Point Parkway route. The Race to Rally Hope is a certified Peachtree Road Race Qualifier.

2011 Registration Fees (online registrations include processing charge)

5k Timed – $25 before 10/21. $30 on race day.

10k Timed – $30 before 10/21. $35 on race day.

Kids ½ Mile Fun Run (under 10) – $10

Phantom Runner* – $25

*A “Phantom Runner” receives a race t-shirt but opts not to participate in the race.

As a part of your registration fee, all pre-registered runners/walkers (including Fun Runners) are guaranteed a short-sleeve Kiddos’ Clubhouse Foundation “Race to Rally Hope” moisture wicking t-shirt at the finish line. Food and drinks will be provided to runners/walkers at the Finish Line Village on Race-Day.


Race Day Schedule

6:45 a.m. – Race Day Registration and Pre-Registered Number Pickup
8:00 a.m. – Kids ½ mile Fun Run start (children 10 and under)
8:30 a.m. – 5K/10K Run start
9:45 a.m. – Presentation of Awards


Parking

Parking will be located in the North Point Village Shopping Center parking lot with overflow availability across North Point Parkway in the Mansell Crossing parking lot. Parking for the event is free. Please use caution when leaving valuables in your vehicle.


Finish Times and Awards

Race results will be posted on the Race to Rally Hope website within three days after the race and within one week on the Georgia Runner website. The results may be printed and used in the Peachtree Road Race application (www.atlantatrackclub.com)

Awards for the race will be presented at the post-race ceremony near the finish line in the North Point Village Shopping Center lot. Awards will be presented to the following age categories:

Men’s and Women’s:

  • 5K - Overall Top Finisher
  • 5K – Top 3 Finishers in Age Group (11-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70+)
  • 10K - Overall Top Finisher
  • 5K – Top 3 Finishers in Age Group (11-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70+)
  • Kid’s Fun Run – All Participants will receive a Special Award at the Finish Line


Peachtree Road Race Qualifier

Kiddos’ Clubhouse Foundation’s Race to Rally Hope is set on a fast, fairly flat course and is a certified Peachtree Road Race Qualifier.
